Macadam is an innovative mobile app that turns your physical activity into real money, rewarding you for every step you take. It converts your daily steps into real financial gains in the form of monetary rewards.
The app offers: • Accurate activity tracking via Apple Health and smartwatches • Conversion of steps into "coins" that can be exchanged for real money • Spending options with partners or transfer to a bank account • Motivation to stay active and combat a sedentary lifestyle • Data protection: no GPS usage, complete anonymization of information • Built-in FAQ to answer all user questions
My contribution
• Development of new app features for iOS and Android • Refactoring and optimization of the existing codebase • Implementation and improvement of animations (Reanimated, Skia, and Rive) • Performance optimization (loading time and fluidity) • Testing and debugging on iOS and Android
